As originally intended by the intimate Kiss, the Kiss of Wisdom is a symbol of Love, Trust and Committment. As insisted in the translation and interpretation of the King Solomon’s Shir HaShirim, a Kiss that does not include these elements, is not the true intention of the Kiss.

Cedars and Cypress, Doves and Chariots, Gold and Silver are all images brought forth into the mind of the reader of the Song of Songs. A Rose, an Apple Tree, Blossoms, Fig trees, Vines and a Leafy couch, all imagines of a landscape full of life.

Fawns and Foxes, a Gazelle and Flocks of Ewes can be seen in the land. A Spring, a Mountain, Saffron and Cinnamon, Lion’s and Leopards decorate the poetry of King Solomon’s Song of Songs.

A Bride, a Temple, things hidden, others revealed. Intricate layers of suggestion. Love and Zeal, Peace and Fire; feelings and emotions displayed in syndicate with visionary precision.

my initial interpretation of the Song of Song’s is this…but it is too early to make assumptions and research of original Hebrew texts and scholarly interpretations will soon give a clearer picture

The song of songs an allegory for a description of Israel and the location of the ark, the relationship between them and G-d, the arc and the high priests, a king and his people all cloaked subtly in the romantic detail between a maiden and her lover.

It is an allegory of love, that G-d is a G-d of love. He gave as a gift the torah, as a gift Israel to the people he loved, so that they might live and not die. Live in the light of the G-d’s love.

It is also a poetic expression of King Solomon’s anguish at the destruction of the second temple and what he felt was the loss of the G-d’s love. It shows King Solomon’s struggle to find G-d without the temple and he finds him in the garden, for he has not left, but now King Solomon, without the temple, must build chariots for his people.
